Wintry-Annex-Wendigo or simply Wendigo is a Dustkeeper hunter-killer met by the player during the Wendigo Hunt encounter.
Personality & Background
Passionate in their work hunting down the enemies of the Dustkeeper Contingency, Wendigo styles themselves an animalistic monster who takes the slaughter of their prey personally, showing a great enjoyment in tracking and destroying them. In conversation, they mix intimidation flirtation in an off-putting combination, prone to both pet names and suggestions of violence.
A skilled fleet commander with a demonstrated ability to hunt down specific targets, Wendigo is a hunter-killer - a creed of Dustkeeper that operates independently of their Shardnet peers in elimination of high-value targets and the pursuit of special missions.
Interactions
Wendigo is met in the Wendigo Hunt encounter, where they track down and attempt to kill the player after annoying Outrider-Annex-Courser by attempting to call for their aid while hostile to the Dustkeepers.
Attempting to bargain with Wendigo by offering the laboratory data obtained during Legacy of Hypnos will reveal that Wendigo has already visited the laboratory some time before Seamstress-Affix-Banshee had, and already come to terms with their human origins.
